Description

Masses of attractive lilac-blue flowers, with 5 distinct deep lilac spots on the petal tips smother neat, compact mounds of foliage. Ideal planted in borders, baskets or containers.

Sowing Instructions

Sowing time:early spring.
Sowing depth:1.5mm (1/16in) deep in rows 15cm (6in) apart.

Sow outdoors where they are to flower. Prepare the ground well and rake to a fine tilth before sowing. Germination usually takes approximately 21 days.

Growing Instructions

When large enough to handle thin out to 15cm (6in) apart.

Aftercare Instructions

They prefer a site with part shade or a sunny position that does not dry out. An autumn sowing outdoors will provide earlier flowers and in a coldframe will produce spring flowering pot plants in the cold greenhouse.
