Description Only 15cm (6in) high with over 500 flowers in full bloom, at any one time. Ideal for bedding or in containers, each plant will be covered from top to bottom in masses of½in, intense cerise-pink flowers, over a long period. Hardly a sign of foliage Makes a superb, tight-knit annual hedge to edge any border or flower bed. Height 15cm (6in). Sowing Instructions | Sowing time: | February to March. | Sow in a good seed compost just covering the seed with 1.5mm (1/16in) of compost or vermiculite. Germination takes 7-14 days at 15-18C (60-65F). Sealing in a polythene bag after sowing is helpful. Growing Instructions When large enough to handle, transplant the seedlings to boxes or 7.5cm (3in) pots. When well grown gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions and plant out in late spring 30cm (12in) apart in full sun and well drained soil. For container plants and hanging baskets grow on in 7.5cm (3in) pots, cool and well ventilated and plant up allowing each plant 10-15cm (4-6in) of space. Allow the plants to become established for 7-10 days before placing outdoors.
