Description
Unique 'black bonnets' with a super contrast white corolla bob above attractive ferny foliage in early summer. A hardy perennial, suitable for the gardener and flower arranger alike, and able to adapt to varying soil types - a valuable addition to the border. Height 60cm (24in).
Sowing Instructions

Sow on the surface of a good free draining seed sowing mix. Make sure the sowing mix is moist but not wet and seal in a plastic bag until after germination which usually takes 25-35 days in a propagator at 18-24C (65-70F).
Sometimes slow to germinate. If no germination after 8 weeks, pre-chill for 3 weeks.
Growing Instructions
Transplant when large enough to handle into 7.5cm (3in) pots and grow on cool in good light. When plants have grown large enough, harden off and plant out 12in apart in moist well drained soil, sun or part shade, after last frost but at least 8 weeks before first fall frost.
Aftercare Instructions
Prefers moist but well drained soil.
