Sow in a good seed compost.
Make sure the compost is moist but not wet and seal inside a polythene bag until after germination which usually takes 21-30 days at 18-24C (65-75F).
Growing Instructions
Transplant when large enough to handle into 7.5cm (3in) pots.
Aftercare Instructions
Later plant out 30cm (12in) apart into moist but well drained soil in full sun.
Seed sown early will often flower the same season.
D.cardinale is a short lived perennial.
