Description Extremely special! Seed of this species is rarely offered. This gorgeous blue mauve Lathyrus is vigorous and can be grown in containers to achieve a stunning effect. Hardy in cooler areas, but dislikes winter wet. Sowing Instructions | Sowing time: | mid January to mid March. | | Sowing depth: | ¼in (6mm) | Sow in trays, pots, etc of good seed compost in a propagator or warm place to maintain an optimum temperature of 65-70F (18-20C). Germination usually takes 7-21 days. Growing Instructions Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into 7.5cm (3in) pots. Harden off and plant out when all risk of frost has passed 30cm (12in) apart. Aftercare Instructions Plant in full sun and in ordinary garden soil. Caution Harmful if eaten.
