Sowing Instructions
| Sowing time: | early spring. |
Sow at 19-21C (65-70F) on the surface of a good seed compost.
Sealing in a polythene bag after sowing is helpful.
Germination usually takes 10-60 days.
Growing Instructions
When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant and grow on in cooler conditions.
Transplant even the smallest seedlings as they often give the best colour.
Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost 30cm (12in) apart.
Aftercare Instructions
Plant in sun or part shade in light well drained soil.
