Description Attractive, spreading, mounded plants display huge clusters of flowers in rose and burgundy shades, and the purest of whites, making this a spectacular colour combination. Very uniform with good mildew tolerance, ideal for spreading through borders or over edges of baskets or containers. Sowing Instructions | Sowing time: | February to March. | Sow in pots or trays of moist seed compost and cover with a very fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Keep at a temperature of between 15-20C (59-68F). After sowing, do not exclude light as this helps germination. Keep the surface of the compost slightly dry until germination, which usually takes 21-30 days. Once seedlings begin to appear, increase the surface moisture. Germination may be slow and irregular. Growing Instructions Examine container regularly and carefully transplant individual seedlings when large enough to handle into 7.5cm (3in) pots or trays. Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost, 30cm (12in) apart. Aftercare Instructions For best results, provide any ordinary, well-drained soil in full sun.
