Sowing Instructions
| Sowing time: | Indoors 6-8 weeks before last spring frost |
Surface sow in pots or trays of moist seed sowing mix.
Place in a propagator or warm place and keep at a constant temperature of between 18-29C (65-85F).
After sowing do not exclude light as this helps germination.
Keep the surface of the sowing mix moist but not waterlogged.
Germination will usually take 7-21 days.
When large enough to handle transplant seedlings into 7.5cm (3in) pots or trays.
Growing Instructions
Gradually acclimatize plants to cooler conditions for a few weeks before planting out after all risk at frost.
Plant 45-60cm (18-24in) apart or into containers.
For best results provide a light, well drained soil in full sun.
Caution
Harmful if eaten.
