  • Soil: Well drained
  • Height: 18 inches
  • Ideal for: Border, Containers, Wildlife

Description

Bushy, free-flowering plants, like a radiant sun with eye-catching golden yellow and vibrant orange bicoloured blooms. Stunning n containers as well as hot, dry borders, attracting bees and butterflies. Plant with African Moon for a perfect combination. Height 30-45cm (12-18 inches).

Sowing Instructions

Sowing time:February to May.

Sow in pots or trays of good seed compost. Place in a propagator or warm place, providing an optimum temperature of about 15C (59F). Lightly cover seeds with a very fine sprinkling of vermiculite. After sowing, do not exclude light as this helps germination. Keep the surface of the compost moist but not waterlogged, germination will usually take 10-14 days.

Growing Instructions

When large enough to handle, transplant seedlings into 7.5cm (3in) pots or trays. Gradually acclimatise plants to cooler conditions for a few weeks before planting out after all risk of frost.

Aftercare Instructions

Provide a rich, well-drained soil in full sun, spacing plants by 30cm (12in).
