Description

Easy to grow annual which produces tall stems clothed with large, attractive, purple-mauve flowers, adding height to borders and ideal for cutting. Spectacular sown en-masse in drifts and will flower all summer long until the first night frosts of autumn.

Sowing Instructions

Sowing time:April to June
Sowing depth:½in

Sow April to June thinly, 12mm (½in) deep in drills 30cm (12in) apart in well-cultivated soil which has been raked to a fine tilth. Water ground regularly, especially in dry periods. Germination usually takes 7-21 days.

Growing Instructions

When large enough to handle, thin out seedlings to 20-25cm (8-10in) apart.
