Sowing Instructions
| Sowing time: | March to August. |
| Sowing depth: | 1cm (½ inch) deep in drills 30cm (12 inch) apart. |
Sow
Sow thinly in soil which has been raked to a fine tilth.
Easy to grow.
Growing Instructions
When large enough to handle, thin out seedlings to 30cm (12 inches) apart if full sized hearts are required, or 7.5cm (3 inch) apart for salad leaves.
Aftercare Instructions
Water ground regularly, especially during dry periods.
Harvest as and when required.
