Height 23cm (9m). Flowers Summer.

Sowing Instructions

Sowing time:January to early April

Sow in a good free draining compost. Surface sow and cover preferably with a thin layer of vermiculite or 1/16in of compost. Germination usually takes 18-21 days at 65-70F (18-20C). As soon as seedlings start to emerge, lower the temperature to 60F (15C). Germination can sometimes be slow and erratic, don't discard the container too early as a second flush of seedlings may appear later.

Growing Instructions

Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into 7.5cm (3in) pots. Harden off and plant out, when all risk of frost has passed, 23-30cm (9-12in) apart in full sun.

Aftercare Instructions

Prefers a well drained soil. When planting in hanging baskets or container take care not to overwater in early stages. They also make attractive pot plants for winter flowering under glass.
