Description
A unique development in food versatility; the microwavable mini pumpkin.
Each plant produces an average of 6 - 7 10oz cricket ball sized tangerine/yellow skinned fruit.
Simply slice off the top, scoop out the seeds, replace the top and microwave for 4 minutes.
Spoon out the flesh and enjoy its delicious sweet flavour.
Alternatively stuff with rice, mince or vegetable mixtures.
Can also be used to make imaginative individual soup tureens with the top keeping the contents hot.
Sowing Instructions

Sow in pots of moist seed compost and cover with a 1cm (½ inch) layer of compost or vermiculite.
Place in a propagator or warm place, and keep at a constant temperature of between 20-25C (68-77F).
Keep the surface of the compost moist but not waterlogged; germination will usually take 6-10 days.
Can also be sown direct outdoors once the soil has warmed.
Growing Instructions
When at the 2 leaf stage, transplant seedlings on into 13cm (5 inch) pots for a few weeks before planting out, 90cm (36 inches) apart in a sunny sheltered spot on rich, well drained soil.
Water and feed regularly with liquid fertiliser.
Aftercare Instructions
May initially produce male flowers only, however female blooms will follow in due course.
Harvest football sized fruits from late August onwards.
Harvest remaining fruits before frosts and store in a cool, frost-free area.
