Description
From the South African countryside comes this classic, silky, pure white flowering plant.
For the front of the border in full sun it certainly lives up to its name with the flowers a pure glistening white throughout the day, and closing up each evening.
The flowers are borne in great profusion over the whole plant, magnificent for the border, pots, patios and all sunny places.
Flowers summer until frost.
Height 30cm (12in).
Sowing Instructions

Sow in a good free draining seed compost barely covering the seed with compost.
Make sure the compost is moist but not wet and seal in a polythene bag until after germination which usually takes 10-15 days at 15-18C (60-65F).
Do not exclude light which is beneficial to germination.
A direct sowing can be made during late spring where they are to flower.
Growing Instructions
Transplant when large enough to handle into 7.5cm (3in) pots and grow on in cooler conditions.
Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost, 30cm (12in) apart in a warm sunny spot on light, well drained soil.
