Description
A favorite noted tor its rich beany 'old fashioned' flavor when freshly steamed.
Long, flat, slightly curved silvery green 20cm (8ln) pods hang in clusters, stringless when young.
Use pods fresh or dry, the seeds as shell beans.
Pole beans often give a better crop under difficult conditions.
Unlike Runner Beans they do not require bees for pollination.
All varieties are suitable for freezing.
