| Sowing depth: | 1.5mm (1/16in) |
Sow in a good seed compost.
Germination takes 7-14 days at 15-18C (60-65F).
Alternatively sow outdoors where they are to flower in late spring in drills 3mm (1/8in) deep and thin the seedlings out to 15cm (6in).

Transplant the seedlings when large enough to handle into boxes or singly into 7.5cm (3in) pots.
Grow at around 10-13C (50-55F).
Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions and plant out in spring after all risk of frost has gone, 15cm (6in) apart.
Aftercare Instructions
They prefer an open sunny position and will grow well on most soils.
Pot a few seedlings to make charming summer flowering pot plants too.
