Description
T&M is delighted to offer this wonderful species, originally found only in Spain and Portugal. Bright yellow 3 lobed flowers, with a hint of cream will brighten up any garden in the summer sun. Its candelabra shape and naturally branching habit makes it ideal for the middle of a border or large container.
Sowing Instructions
| Sowing time: | Indoors 8-10 weeks before planting out after last frost zones 2-7, autumn zones 8-10 |
Sow at 20-30C (68-86F) on the surface of a good free draining, damp seed sowing mix. Do not cover the seed. Place in a propagator or seal container inside a plastic bag until after germination which usually takes 10-21 days. Do not exclude light, as this helps germination.
Growing Instructions
Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into trays or 7.5cm (3in) pots. Grow on in cooler conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost, 23-30cm (9-12in) apart.
Aftercare Instructions
Remove spent flowers regularly to encourage further blooming.
