Description
Sweet and tasty, miniature 'cos' lettuces with deep red leaves from a young age, so can be used as 'baby leaves' as well as 'hearts'. Useful for smaller gardens or patio containers. Good mildew resistance. Recommended for successional sowings. Prefers a moist, well-drained soil in full sun.
Sowing Instructions

| Sowing depth: | 1cm (½ inch) deep in drills 30cm (12 inches apart. |
Sow thinly in soil which has been raked to a fine tilth. Water ground regularly, especially during dry periods.
Growing Instructions
When large enough to handle, thin out seedlings to 20cm (8 inches) apart.

Harvest as and when required. Water ground regularly, especially during dry periods.
