Oustanding yields of large, smooth and pure white bulbs with an enticing and traditional aniseed flavour.
Victoria is a newly bred form which has neat foliage and improved resistance to bolting.
Sowing Instructions
| Sowing time: | April to July. |
| Sowing depth: | 1cm (½in) deep in rows 38cm (15in) apart. |
Prepare the ground well and rake to a fine tilth before sowing.
Sow outdoors where they are to grow.
Growing Instructions
When large enough to handle thin out to 23cm (9in) apart.
Aftercare Instructions
Prefers a well drained soil in full sun.
Kitchen Notes
Steam, grill or boil fennel and serve with a delicious cheese sauce.
