Description
Absolutely unique, purple-skinned carrots with deep orange flesh. They look amazing in salads or as a steamed vegetable. Roots have a high antioxidant and vitamin content, so are best eaten raw and are perfect for making carrot juice. High antioxidant and vitamin content. Easy to grow.
Sowing Instructions
| Sowing time: | April to June. |
| Sowing depth: | 1cm (½ inch) deep in drills 30cm (12 inches) apart. |
Sow seed thinly. Thin seedlings to 5cm (2 inches) when large enough to handle, to reduce risk of carrot root fly attack.
Growing Instructions
Prefers well-drained, moist, rich, cool conditions.
Aftercare Instructions
Keep well watered for best quality roots.

The unusual colour scheme makes it a talking point for adding to fresh salads or for use with dips.
