Description

Stems can be trained and tied to a trellis, stout cane, or netting.
Will produce heavy yields of dark green, smooth, cylindrical 15cm (6in) fruits if picked regularly.
Ideal grown in a container on the patio.
Sowing Instructions

Sow seed in 7.5cm (3in) pots of free-draining seed sowing mix.
Place in a propagator or seal container inside a plastic bag and place at 20-25C (68-77F) until after germination which takes 5-7 days.
Can also be sown direct outdoors during May once the soil has warmed, preferably under cloches.
Growing Instructions
Gradually acclimatize to outdoor conditions for a few days before planting out once all risk of frost has passed, allowing 60cm (24in) between plants if they are to be supported.
Keep well watered and pick fruits regularly for a long season of production.
Aftercare Instructions
Prefers well-drained, rich, moist soil in full sun.

Youngest fruits are delicious raw, just diced up in a mixed salad.
