Description
Good-coloured roots with crisp flesh which is slow to turn 'pithy'. Quick growing with neat, tidy foliage. Suitable for outdoor crops as well as forcing under glass or in frames for even earlier crops. Easy to grow.
Sowing Instructions
| Sowing time: | March to July. |
| Sowing depth: | 1cm (½ inch) deep in drills 30cm (12 inches) apart. |
Sow thinly in soil which has been raked to a fine tilth. Water ground regularly, especially during dry periods.
Growing Instructions
When large enough to handle, thin out seedlings to 2.5cm (1 inch) apart. Prefers a moist, well-drained soil in full sun.
Aftercare Instructions
Keep plants cool and moist to prevent running to seed.
