Machaeranthera - Annual Autumn Aster
With its mass of pretty violet-blue flowers, this Autumn Aster looks like a perennial Michaelmas daisy, but it is in fact an annual. Its long flowering period means that it will add late summer and early autumn color to borders and large containers on a sunny patio. Very easy to grow with a lovely spreading habit. Germination: 7-21 days, 68-77F. Well-drained soil. 12-20in.
