: : : I am looking desperately for ideas on privacy hedges.  I live in southeastern PA, Zone 6, and I am looking for hedges that will tolerate pretty much anything!  The soil in the proposed planting location is rather poor and sandy, with low to moderate water.  It would only receive half sun, and is also close to a state route, causing seasonal road salt presence.  I want something that will grow thick and about 12'-15' high, but not require a lot of maintenance.  Any ideas?  Thanks much.
