: We recently bought a home that has azaleas under a magnolia tree. The problem is the azaleas are very stringy, not bushey at all and I haven't seen one flower. Is it time to take them out, or can I prune them down to the groud and cross my fingers?

Hi Suzanne,
Congratulations on your new home! Are these evergreen or decidious azaleas? The evergreen ones are denser and the decidious ones are more airy.
