How do I prune ilex bushes, or should I at all? I have six of them and I never pruned them since I planted them three years ago. They are big and dense but this year I noticed thet they started to turn yellow( not completely but some branches. They do have new growth, however. I thought it might be from too much rain. Shall I prune them and if so when? now or in the fall? I appreciate an answer. Thank you.
