Holly bushes with red berries

I caught kids jumping in my holly bushes. Now some branches are bent and they look terrible. Can I prune them. If so how? Do I trim off all bent branches? Do I start at the bottom( near the trunk) and work my way up or start at the tips and work my way to the trunk. If I sound confused, then I am. Please help this thumbless homeowner.
