I have 32 arborvitea trees approx. 10-12 inches tall planted 9 feet from a bean field. I have water all of them regularly since I planted them. Most were green and doing well, until the field was sprayed with round-up. Now the plants are starting to turn black on the top of the tree and seems to be working it's way down towards the roots. The local Co-Op is not thinking that the spray is what killed the trees due to the grass around the trees not turning a brown color. I am looking for someone who may know if alittle drift may kill a small arborvitea or not. All of our 32 trees are dying. Any input is appreciated.
