Do all shrubs flower? I've been looking for something green that doesn't flower to balance out some other things I want to plant.

But I don't know any names or how to find what I am looking for. A few people have recommended
virnibrum(sp?), but I don't like them.

I want something free forming that doesn't necessarily have to be pruned. Nothing over 5 to 6 tall. No thorny branches or anything like that.And foliage of a dark green. Just something plain and boring.
