Arborvitea browning.

Over the summer; I sprayed between my five arborviteas w/Ortho's weed control. I am not sure if this is related; but apx 2-3 weeks after the areas between my plants are slowing browning and continue to dye off. Could this be from overspray or an insect of some type?

Additionally, the inner areas of the plant appear to be browning.
