Dear Lionel,

The first suggestion that I could give you are Privets. These plants, Amur Privet for instance will grow tall (10-12') and thin (3'). Privets grow well in full sun and can tolerate drought.

Hedge Cotoneaster are excellent privacy shrubs that grow fast and big, 10 feet tall and 10 feet wide. This plant has green, tiny and packet leaves and also produces berries.

Boxwood 'Culmnar' are upright growing shrubs that keep their leaf year round. These are the plants you'll see shaped as people or rhinocerous'. They'll grow 10-15' tall and 6-8' wide.

Hope this helps,
Mike
