When and how to transplant wisteria

: When is the best time to transplant my wisteria?  I'm in Zone 5 and planted a small plant this past spring in a spot that only gets four to five hours of morning sun.  It has grown beautifully, (about four feet with lots of leaves), but I would like to put it in full sun over an arbor at the front gate of my garden.  There it would get ten or more hours of sun a day.  When and how should I move it so that I don't hurt the plant?  Thanks.
