: When should I prune my wisteria for the best blooms next year and how far back?  I live on Zone 5-6 border.  This is an old plant I transplanted this spring and cut back to ground and it has had nice recovery.  It is growing up a very sturdy arbor and I want to keep it in control and of course lots of blooms!
