: I live on border of Zone 5&6. I have 4 oak leaf hydrangeas planted in May. They receive 1/2 day of sun, 2 are happy but one is always "droopy". One my puppy chewed to the ground, but is sprouting new growth! I have watered as we haven't had rain since July. No sign of bugs. Any suggestions? Thanks!

You might want to dig around the droopy one and see if it is rootbound. If so, dig it up and soak it in water for an hour. Then rinse off the dirt and see if you can loosen the roots. Replant.

Good luck,
Newt
