boxwood leaves turning yellow and falling out

Can anyone tell me why my dwarf boxwood leaves might be turning yellow and falling off. They were planted probably 9 months ago and looked great until recently. They are in a sunny area of my yard and get quite a bit of water.....any suggestions?? Do they need fertilizer or shrub food or anything like that??
