passion plant problem

i have a passion plant which appears to be healthy. grows fairly quick very green lots of leaves and buds. my problem is that the buds keep falling off. they get to be about the diameter of a dime, and then they fall off. this has been going on for about 6 months. anybody with a suggestion? i would greatly appreciate your help!
