Gardenia bush dropping buds

Please I shall be in debt to whoever may help me on this: I have a Gardenia bush, very healthy in acid soil and with lush green leaves and growing : but it drops all its buds when almost ripe.since the reason of this bush are the flowers.Do you know what can be done???
