transplanting mature shrubs

: I have 2 Euonymous Silver Kings and 2 Princess Spireas that are each about 6 years old.  Is it safe to transplant them?  If so, when is the best time?  And, do you have any suggestions for insuring the successful transplants.  I have read the Transplanting Trees and Shrubs page but still feel uncertain about the prudence of moving them.  Thanks.
