Is it safe to transplant them? If so, when is the best time? And, do you have any suggestions for insuring the successful transplants. I have read the Transplanting Trees and Shrubs page but still feel uncertain about the prudence of moving them. Thanks.
You don't say what state or zone you are in, so it would be difficult to tell you if you could transplant now. If you're in New England, it's too late. If you are in Florida then it's ok. Usually fall is the best time to transplant. They will need at least 4 to six weeks to establish their root systems. Newt
