: I am designing my new landscape and I have an area where there are plants but nothing behind them and it looks like there is something missing, so I thought that I could place a line of green shrubs behind the other plants so when they die out in the winter there will still be some plants, my problem is that I dont konw what type of shrub to buy. I am concearned about the retainer wall that the plants would be beside, it is made of brick and I dont want anything that could bust the brick if it grew too big. I was wondering if there is a green shrub that is about a foot tall that you could recomend for me. Thanks,
