: Recently purchased 26, 7gal, 7ft tall, red tip phontias for use as a privacy hedge in the back yard. Currently 23 are bright red and growing madly!  However 3, in a row, look very different... no red tips, not full and beautiful, dull colored, not wilting but lots of new buds on the branches.  No apparent disease on the leaves.  Should I replace them or what?
