: I have a row ot taxus shrubs 3 years old. All except 2 came back this spring looking very healthy. These two had very little growth compared to the other 18 plants...Also they are a lighter shade of green(olive) on the old growth, especially on the top & outside branches...These plants are all located in a well landscaped, well drained areas... I suspision they have been doged. Can you help?

Hi Steve,

It sounds as if those two just won't make it. Maybe their root systems weren't developed enough. Can you dig up one and take a look at the roots?

Also, I don't know what 'doged' means.
