What is a Laaf anyway?

Laaf: (laf), n., a fairytale figure that loves life and generates laaf-ter.

Laafs are the brainchild of Tom van der Ven, creative director of the Efteling, Europe's oldest and most attractive theme park. The fairy tale describes how these whimsical characters settled in the Efteling and built Laaf Land. Recently, the Laafs were introduced in America and people are reporting that they love the Laafs because they are unique, adoptable and weather resistant.
