Take slice of good bread. Slice a ripe tomato and lay the slices
on the bread. Sprinkle with salt. If you want to get fancy, sprinkle
with one or more of the following: fresh ground pepper, chopped
basil, snipped chives, extra-virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar.
For a heartier snack, spread the bread with pesto, hummus, or baba
ganouj (most supermarkets carry at least one of these already prepared.)
Lay the sliced tomatoes on the spread, sprinkle with feta or parmesan
(or your favorite) cheese. Devour.
