growing a lemon tree

I would like to start a lemon tree from a seed. Could you please send to me, information on how to go about this... as in.. do I need to dry the seed before planting.. do I need to let it sprout before planting it in soil...

I've planted other fruit trees from seed, but I have no idea how to start a lemon tree. Any information you could send would be greatly appreciated.
