: We bought a willow tree last month but it is not doing very well. From the very beginning it had black and brown spots on trunk and some branches.
: Vender advised us to cut out black spots and paint it. We did it but it is not better so far. Any suggestions?
: Please help.

Hi Seva,
Take it back and get your money back. Don't purchase from them again. Cut out the black spots and paint them???? I don't think so. They shouldn't sell you a diseased tree and, if they do, they should replace it with a healthy one or refund your money.

Good luck,
Newt
