When the spreading base was in view before, it looked even larger. There are roots the size of tree trunks under the deck. : This tree is 6 miles before arriving at Seaside, or Cannon Beach, Oregon. : The moss on the tree gives evidence of why its still a green ride to the Oregon coast in the winter - moss all over the trees. Great picture. What a beauty. I'd love to see it 'in the bark'!! Lots of other useful and interesting info there.
