: we have a very young weeping willow. it's growing very nicely. we aren't certain about it's care. does it need to be pruned to maintain it's health and beauty or should it be left alone and grow free form?

Hi Elaine,
Yes, the weeping willow is a weak limbed tree and does need pruning to form healthy branches. It is also a short lived tree. Take a look at these sites.
