Transplanting Older Crepe Myrtles

Help! My husband brought home some large, 10-12 feet, crepe myrtles from an old residential area that is now being developed commercially. The person who dug them up only got the whole root ball on one of them--there are four. The other three have most of the root ball with just small pieces broken off. It has been two days and the leaves are still droopy. Is there anything we can do to ease the transition and perhaps save them?
