Posted by M. D. Vaden on July 24, 2003 at 20:22:58: Recently (being on several tree forums) I noticed how often arborists and gardeners list a link for advice that was a "Google" search. Experts know a lot. On the other hand, there are sites with probably 80% of the care advice people need for care of a specific plant. www.google.com Want to know how to care for a windmill palm? Go to Google and use keywords: Windmill, palm, care Got a disease on your cherry? Go to google and enter: Cherry, disease, control Want a pruning explanation? Google! Pruning, cut, diagram If you really want a great tool for finding the words in a site, sometime go to googles toolbar link - see below. If you go, you can download and install the toolbar on Internet Explorer, and it has a highlight button. It will highlight your keywords in a site's text so you don't have to read everything to get to the spot. M. D. Vaden of Oregon - www.mdvaden.com
